The Pentagon: America approves a possible arms sale to Saudi Arabia and the UAE

(Reuters) - The Pentagon said on Tuesday that the State Department has approved a potential $3.05 billion sale of Patriot missiles and related equipment to Saudi Arabia. The Pentagon also said the State Department had approved a potential deal to sell a missile defense system and related equipment to the UAE at an estimated cost of $2.25 billion.
