The UAE withdrew from the quadripartite mechanism to resolve the Sudan crisis

The head of the Sudanese Justice and Equality Movement, Jibril Ibrahim, revealed, on Wednesday, the withdrawal of the United Arab Emirates from the quadripartite mechanism that was recently active in resolving the prolonged political crisis in Sudan. Jibril said, in press statements after a meeting of the forces of national consensus: "The UAE withdrew from the quadripartite mechanism, which has now become a tripartite, and a delegation from us met with the new American ambassador and explained the crisis in the country." He stressed: "Assigning committees to communicate with diplomatic missions and accredited ambassadors, and others to mobilize the public to arrange seminars that they intend to hold in a number of states." Jibril Ibrahim stressed the need for political forces to agree and stay away from exclusion, and said: "Exclusion is the reason behind what we are experiencing now, and we are ready to deal with all political forces and shorten the time to reach a solution to the crisis." Jibril explained: "The dialogue between the parties should be provisional and managed according to a Sudanese decision, which the international parties are responsible for facilitating," and stressed the right to participate in it by all political parties, with the exception of the National Congress Party - dissolved.
