Lebanese storm 7 banks within hours and an emergency meeting of the Internal Security Council

The Minister of Interior and Municipalities in the caretaker government in Lebanon, Bassam Mawlawi, called for an emergency meeting of the Central Internal Security Council, this afternoon, to discuss the security measures that can be taken in light of the emerging events on banks, according to Lebanon 24 website.
According to what was reported on the Youm7 website, Lebanese citizens stormed 7 banks during the hours of Friday. He threatened the employees with a weapon, he also threatened to pour gasoline, and burn the entire place in case he did not get his deposit, but the security forces intervened immediately to contain the situation. The young man (M.Q.) surrendered himself to the security after obtaining his deposit of $19,200, according to local media.
Another citizen, Abed Subra, also stormed the "Blom Bank" - a branch of the New Road - Beirut, in order to obtain his financial deposit.
According to video clips circulated on social media, it was found that the security forces entered the bank, where Subra was present, and negotiations took place with him, and he was also asked to hand over his weapon to the security forces.
According to Al-Jadeed channel, Abed Subra said, "I carry a weapon on my waist, but I never used it. The bank closed the doors on us, and I want all of my deposit, or no one will leave here."
Two bankers in Lebanon told Reuters that Lebanese banks will close their doors for three days next week, due to security concerns amid an increase in attacks by depositors.
And that was one day after the citizen Sally Hafez stormed a bank in which she deposited his money and could not get it.
