The two-day European summit will kick off this afternoon in Prague, the capital of the current Czech presidency. As for today's meeting, according to a European statement, it is the first meeting of the European political group and includes leaders from all over the continent in the spirit of unity, and includes countries nominated for membership in the Union. The European Political Community aims to strengthen political dialogue and cooperation to address issues of common interest and to enhance security, stability and prosperity on the European continent
According to what was issued by the European institutions in Brussels, "This political coordination platform does not replace any existing organization, structure or process and does not aim to create new institutions at this stage."
