Najib Mikati: We count on the efforts of the Vatican to push for consensus among the Lebanese

Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati affirmed that he is counting on the efforts of the Vatican to push for consensus among the Lebanese and hold presidential elections, with its moral authority and relations with all parties.
This came during his reception today, the Papal Ambassador to Lebanon, Monsignor Paolo Borgia, at the Grand Serail in the capital, Beirut, on an acquaintance visit on the occasion of his recent assumption of his duties.

During the meeting, the relations between Lebanon and the Vatican were reviewed and the Holy See's interest in Lebanon and its children was renewed.
