Jordan and the European Union discuss cooperation frameworks and strategic partnership relations

Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, affirmed the strength of Jordanian-European relations; to face challenges.
This came during Safadi's reception, on Wednesday, with the delegation of the working group on the Mashreq and Maghreb countries in the Council of the European Union.
The meeting dealt with frameworks of cooperation and strategic partnership relations between Jordan and the European Union and ways to develop them.
During the meeting, Safadi referred to the outcomes of the fourteenth meeting of the Jordan-European Partnership Council, which was held for the first time outside the European Union institutions in Brussels and Luxembourg, and hosted by the Kingdom last June, embodying the strong relations between Jordan and the European Union, and the signing of the Partnership Priorities Document for the next five years. Between Jordan and the European Union, which reflects European keenness to support the Kingdom in facing the challenges arising from regional crises and their consequences.
It is noteworthy that the Working Group on the Levant and Morocco in the Council of the European Union is considered a geographical working group concerned with the affairs of the countries of the Levant and the Maghreb, and it works on the foreign policy relations of the European Union with these countries, and on the file of the "Union for the Mediterranean" chaired by Jordan in partnership with the European Union.
