The Moroccan Prime Minister discusses with a Belgian official ways to enhance economic cooperation

Moroccan Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch discussed, on Wednesday, with the Prime Minister of the Belgian region of Wallonia, Elio Di Rupo, ways to enhance economic and trade cooperation between the two sides.
During the meeting, the Moroccan Prime Minister and the Belgian Minister, who is on a working visit to Morocco, reviewed a number of sectors that offer great potentials to enhance economic and trade cooperation, by finding the best means to give it a new impetus, in the interest of both countries.
The two sides stressed the strength of the human, cultural and economic relations linking the two countries, as the region of Wallonia, and Belgium in general, hosts a large Moroccan community of about 600,000, which actively contributes to the Belgian cultural, political and economic contributions.
On the other hand, the two parties discussed the broad prospects that could be opened by the work of the joint high commission between Morocco and Belgium, at all levels, which is scheduled to be held next year in Rabat, at the level of the heads of the two governments' governments.
