Dozens of Israeli settlers storm Al-Aqsa square, guarded by the occupation police

Today, Sunday, Israeli settlers stormed the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, under strict protection from the Israeli occupation police, and local Palestinian sources reported that dozens of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa and carried out provocative tours in its courtyards.

Israeli settlers storm Al-Aqsa courtyards, daily except for Friday and Saturday, at morning and evening intervals, in an attempt to impose the temporal and spatial division there.

The Palestinian Foreign Minister, Riyad Al-Maliki, had confirmed that no party, whatever it was, could deny the great role and efforts exerted by Egypt to solve the Palestinian issue.

Minister Riyad Al-Malki expressed - in an exclusive interview with the Middle East News Agency, on Friday, on the sidelines of his participation in the seventh regional forum of foreign ministers of the Union for the Mediterranean countries in Barcelona - the appreciation of the State of Palestine for the courageous Egyptian position in supporting the Palestinian cause, stressing: "Egypt has always been the country that We depend on it to provide support and backing for our cause.”

The Foreign Minister said, "Egypt is the guarantor of the Palestinian cause," stressing the importance of the historical Egyptian stance in support of Palestine since the beginning of the Nakba that happened to our people until this moment. He added, "When we talk about the history and present of our cause, we find the Egyptian dimension always present."

He added that Egypt made many sacrifices for the sake of Palestine, recalling the mixing of Egyptian and Palestinian blood in order to defend the Palestinian cause, end the occupation and achieve the dream of establishing a Palestinian state.

Regarding the impact of the war in Ukraine on the international community's interest in the Palestinian cause, the Palestinian foreign minister said: "We cannot deny that this war had a great impact... as there is great interest by the United States of America and European countries in the situation in Ukraine."

Al-Maliki warned that Ukraine not only grabbed the political attention of the international community, but also the financial capabilities and other countries that were giving greater attention and assistance to the Palestinian cause.
