Today, Sunday, a preparatory meeting kicked off between the Palestinian Minister of Jerusalem Affairs, Fadi Al-Hadmi, and the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, as part of the preparations for the Jerusalem Conference, which is scheduled to be held next March.

The General Secretariat affirmed its readiness to meet what the Palestinian government sees in order for the conference to come out in the way it likes, as it invited many international organizations operating under the framework of the United Nations and specialized Arab organizations, in addition to a number of civil society organizations and public figures.
 
For his part, Al-Hidmi expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the League of Arab States, from the heart of Egypt, to support the Palestinians in confronting the occupation machine, which seeks to undermine the Islamic and Christian identity of the Holy City.
 
Al-Hadmi added that the situation in the Palestinian territories still needs Arab support at the current stage, in light of the continuous violations by the occupation forces, explaining that his visit to Cairo came under instructions from President Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh to coordinate on the upcoming conference, which aims to mobilize support for the Holy City. This comes as the Israeli occupation warplanes launched, at dawn today, Sunday, a series of raids on sites in the southern Gaza Strip.
The official Palestinian News Agency, Wafa, said that the Israeli F-16 warplanes bombed a site west of Khan Yunis with at least two missiles, destroying it and setting it on fire.
