For tourism promotion.. Egypt's ambassador in Brussels meets representatives of Belgian tourism and aviation companies

The Embassy of Egypt in Brussels, in coordination with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the General Authority for Tourism Promotion, organized a meeting with representatives of Belgian tourism and aviation companies, where the meeting was chaired by Ambassador Dr. Ghada Shalaby, Deputy Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Air Cairo, and representatives of the Egyptian authorities concerned with the file of travel and tourism.
Abdel Ati expressed his aspiration to receive more Belgian tourist delegations, reviewing the facilities provided by the embassy to issue visas to tourists. He also stressed Egypt's interest in increasing the number of tourists it receives from Belgium, highlighting that Egypt has hosted more than one important event in the recent period, the most important of which is the conference United Nations Climate Change in Sharm El-Sheikh, and the international "Dior" fashion show at the foot of the pyramids, in addition to visiting a group of participants in the Miss Belgium contest, the city of Sharm El-Sheikh.
Dr. Ghada Shalaby, Deputy Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, reviewed the capabilities that Egypt enjoys, which are attractive to tourists of all kinds, in addition to the state's efforts to promote Egyptian tourist destinations, and expressed the state's keenness to identify the challenges facing tour operators in order to work on solving them. Mr. Hussein El-Sherif, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Air Cairo, confirmed the company's readiness to operate flights from Belgium to meet the growing demand for the Egyptian destination.
There was a lengthy discussion with representatives of Belgian tourism companies to allow more Belgian tourist flow to Egypt, after the current year achieved a big boom in Belgian tourism compared to the previous year.
The participants from the Egyptian side also gave clarifications to all the questions and inquiries of the Belgian side. In conclusion, it was agreed to hold periodic meetings and exchange visits to achieve more promotion of the diverse Egyptian tourist destination, with a focus on cultural, environmental and beach tourism.
