The Deputy Emir of Kuwait, Crown Prince Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, received on Tuesday a phone call from Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, who discussed the historical relations between the two friendly countries.

During the phone call, the Japanese Prime Minister praised the recent parliamentary elections in the State of Kuwait, offering congratulations on the formation of the new government. He also reassured the health of the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

For his part, the Crown Prince of Kuwait reassured the health of Emperor Naruhito, Emperor of Japan, expressing his sincere thanks for this communication, which expresses the solid historical relations that bind the two friendly countries, wishing Japan and its friendly people continued progress and prosperity.
