The European Union institutions in Brussels said that the foreign policy coordinator in the Union, Josep Borrell, will be in the Jordanian capital, Amman, where he will participate in the activities of the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership, and he will hold a series of talks with many parties participating in the activities of the conference.

Borrell will represent the European Union and participate in the second Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership, which will be held on December 20 at the Dead Sea. This comes after the Jordanian army announced that it would deploy its patrols to secure the "Baghdad Cooperation and Partnership" conference, which will be held in the Kingdom next Tuesday, amid protests in the country.
