And the Jerusalemite sources indicated that the land was part of the water system of the historical Ain Silwan, and it contains two "great" pools to collect the water of the eye and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, in addition to carrying religious narratives that link it to the healing miracles of Christ.

The sources indicated that the land belonged to the Orthodox Church, and in the last two months there were rumors about leaking it to the settlers, but the church denied these rumors to Jerusalemite institutions.

She explained that since 1939 there has been a land lease agreement between Palestinians and the church, according to which a person from the Simrin family cultivates the land and takes care of it, but he does not own anything in it and cannot dispose of it.

On Tuesday, settlers attacked the residents of Wadi Hilweh in the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
