Tunisia: The start of the second phase of the parliamentary elections

Tunisians are going to the polls, today, Sunday, to cast their votes, in the second round of the legislative elections, as polling stations opened their doors to voters in Tunisia this morning and will continue until the evening, according to Tunisian Radio Mosaique.
262 candidates for the second round, including 228 men and 34 women, are competing for the remaining seats in the next parliament, to join the deputies who won seats since the first round.
The number of voters registered in the electoral register and those concerned with the second round is 7,853,447, including 5,827,949 registered automatically and 2,025,498 registered voluntarily.
It is expected that the preliminary results of the second round of the legislative elections will be announced on the first of next February.
