Settlers and members of the occupation intelligence storm Al-Aqsa Mosque, under heavy security

Today, Wednesday, dozens of settlers and members of the occupation intelligence stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, under the strict protection of the Israeli occupation police.

Local sources told the Palestinian News Agency, Wafa, that 70 settlers and 10 Israeli intelligence agents stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Mughrabi Gate, toured its courtyards, performed Talmudic rituals, and received explanations about the alleged Temple, before leaving from the Chain Gate.

It is noteworthy that 4,218 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa since the beginning of this year, including the extremist Israeli Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir.

Earlier, the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission said, "The Israeli occupation authorities and settlers carried out 700 attacks during the month of January, as these attacks concentrated in the Nablus governorate, followed by the Jenin governorate, and then the Bethlehem governorate.

In a statement issued today, Wednesday, according to the Palestinian News Agency, the Commission stated that these violations ranged from direct assault on citizens, vandalism and razing of lands, uprooting trees, seizing property, closures, barriers, and physical injuries.

"The recent occupation government desecrated Palestinian blood, land and property in its first month," said the head of the Palestinian Authority, Moayed Shaaban, pointing to the death toll of 35 martyrs in one month.

Shaaban indicated that the settlers tried to establish 6 new settlement outposts in separate areas, pointing out that during the month of January, the Israeli occupation authorities issued 55 notices to demolish and stop building Palestinian facilities, ranging from notices to demolish or stop construction under the pretext of non-licensing, most of which were concentrated in Hebron governorates And Bethlehem and Salfit, and more than 541 dunums of citizens' lands were leveled in the Salfit and Nablus governorates, with the aim of controlling and transferring them to the settlers.

He added that the demolitions carried out by the Israeli occupation forces during the month of January amounted to 81 demolitions of 94 homes, commercial establishments, and a source of livelihood, and these operations were concentrated in the governorates of Jerusalem, Jericho, and Hebron, explaining that the occupation authorities deposited and approved 3 new colonial plans in order to add settlement units and change uses. lands inside these settlements, and pointed out that the occupation cabinet issued 27 decisions targeting citizens with the aim of harassing them and imposing new facts.
