It is noteworthy that Erdogan had declared a state of emergency for a period of 3 months in the affected areas and allocated 100 billion Turkish liras (about 5.3 billion dollars) to deal with the effects of the earthquake.
On the other hand, two Emirati and Indian planes arrived at Damascus International Airport today, Wednesday, carrying humanitarian and medical aid for the earthquake victims.

Damascus airport authorities said in a statement today, according to the Syrian News Agency, SANA, that the UAE plane was carrying a large load of humanitarian aid, weighing about 10 tons of medicines and medical devices, and the total humanitarian aid for the UAE amounted to about 1,050 tons of aid.

For his part, Chargé d'Affaires of the Indian Embassy in Damascus, Satinder Kumar Yadav, said that India knows the difficult times that Syria is going through, and anxiety increased after the devastating earthquake that occurred, and our duty requires us to provide assistance to it, adding that the aid plane coming from India carries about 6 tons of medical materials and medicines. .

Yadav added that another aid plane carrying medical relief materials is being prepared, which will arrive within the next 24 hours.

Also within the framework of humanitarian support for Syria, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced today, Wednesday, that Russian soldiers are providing humanitarian aid around the clock to the residents of the Syrian governorate of Aleppo, affected by the strong earthquakes that struck the region since last Monday.

A statement by the Russian Ministry of Defense - reported by the Russian TASS news agency - stated that soldiers from the Russian Reconciliation Center in Syria are providing humanitarian aid to the residents of Aleppo governorate affected by the earthquake, and food and basic necessities are distributed through points for distributing humanitarian aid, and Russian forces will continue to work to provide humanitarian assistance. for those affected.
