The Iraqi Prime Minister begins talks with officials in the United Arab Emirates

Today, Thursday, the Iraqi Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, began an official visit to the United Arab Emirates, at the head of a high-level government delegation.
And the media office of Al-Sudani stated - in a statement reported by the Iraqi news channel (Al-Sumaria News) - that "an official reception ceremony was held at the Al-Watan Palace by the President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, which included the playing of the national anthems of both countries and the review of the guard of honor."
The statement indicated that the Prime Minister is scheduled to hold a series of meetings with a number of officials in the UAE, to discuss consolidating and strengthening bilateral cooperation and partnership between the two countries at various levels, as well as coordinating efforts and positions on regional and international issues and challenges.
The Iraqi Prime Minister had confirmed - earlier - that his visit to the UAE comes as an affirmation of Iraq's sincere desire to continue and develop trade and economic cooperation and attract investments in various sectors, including renewable energy, port management and logistics centers.
