"Gulf Cooperation" affirms support for international efforts to reach a political solution to the Yemeni crisis

The Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, Jassim Muhammad Al-Budaiwi, affirmed, on Tuesday, the Council's support for all international efforts aimed at extending the armistice and reaching a comprehensive political solution to the Yemeni crisis in accordance with the three references to achieve security and stability throughout Yemen in a way that meets the aspirations of the Yemeni people.


This came during Al-Budaiwi's meeting with the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of Yemen and the General Supervisor of the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, Ambassador Muhammad bin Saeed Al Jaber, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Riyadh, to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation.


Al-Budaiwi praised - according to what was reported by the Saudi Press Agency - the great efforts made by the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, through the implementation of a number of development and economic projects within the Yemeni governorates, in a way that contributes to supporting the development and stability of Yemen to achieve the aspirations of the Yemeni people.
