Brussels: Europe and the Arabs
On Tuesday morning, Israeli settlers stormed the town of "Kifl Haris", north of the Salfit governorate, in the northwest of the West Bank, and desecrated Islamic shrines.
Eyewitnesses said, "About 100 settlers stormed the town and desecrated the shrines, under the protection of the occupation army."
The intruders were not satisfied with that, but they performed Talmudic rituals in the town, and chanted racist slogans and slogans against its Palestinian residents, coinciding with Purim.
For its part, Palestinian security sources said, "The occupation soldiers raided the town of "Taqu'a" southeast of Bethlehem, in the southern West Bank, and detained seven young men before releasing them at a later time."
Eyewitnesses said, "A large number of houses were searched during the storming of the town, which is witnessing frequent confrontations between its residents and the occupation forces and settlers."
This came after the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates warned on Monday evening of the dangers of calls launched by extremist Jewish organizations to carry out massive incursions into the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Holy Sanctuary, in conjunction with the Jewish "Purim" holiday, on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The ministry confirmed, in a press statement, that "these incitement calls and the provocative incursions that may follow in light of an extreme right-wing government whose preoccupation is pouring fuel on the fire and fabricating successive tensions and crises, is threatening a huge explosion with unimaginable consequences in the conflict arena."
The ministry held the Israeli government fully and directly responsible for these incursions, and demanded international and American intervention to stop them before it is too late.
