United Nations: 1070 aid trucks entered northwestern Syria, and new earthquakes were recorded

United Nations spokesman Stephane Dujarric confirmed that the United Nations and its agencies have managed to bring more than 1,070 trucks into northwestern Syria since the devastating earthquake occurred on February 6, in the context of its cross-border response from Turkey to meet the needs of those affected.
According to the United Nations Information Center, Dujarric said that UN staff have so far completed 37 cross-border missions in northwestern Syria since the first inter-agency visit to Idlib days after the earthquake.. adding: "In government-controlled areas in Syria We continue to help remove the rubble with our partners in the humanitarian field, and we have also provided technical support to the damage assessment committees in the governorates of Idlib, Aleppo and Latakia."
The UN spokesperson stated that, to date, the United Nations and its partners have conducted safety assessments of nearly 3,700 schools and set up eight temporary learning spaces in shelters and community centres.
In the same context, the Syrian Seismological Center announced that 18 earthquakes had been recorded since yesterday until Tuesday morning, all with a magnitude of less than 4.2 on the Richter scale.
The center stated - in a statement reported by the Syrian News Agency "SANA" that the stations of the Syrian Seismic Monitoring Network monitored 11 earthquakes in Iskenderun Province and 7 tremors in the Turkish mainland, indicating that the recording of the tremors was limited to the central region of Iskenderun Province and in the north of the Taurus Mountains.
Yesterday, Monday, the Syrian Center for Seismological Monitoring announced that 27 earthquakes had been recorded, most of them with a magnitude ranging between 1 and 3.9 on the Richter scale, and at different depths.
The center stated - in a statement reported by the Syrian News Agency "SANA" that the stations of the Syrian Seismic Monitoring Network monitored three earthquakes northwest of Latakia, the first with a distance of 28 km, the second with a distance of 29 km, and the third with a distance of 34 km, and an earthquake west of Hama with a distance of 26 km, and 17 tremors in the brigade. Iskenderun; One of them is west of the brigade, and three of them are northwest of Idlib, in addition to an earthquake in the Gulf of Iskenderun, and five tremors in Turkey.
