The Israeli settlers continue to storm the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the occupation police.
Today, Monday, dozens of Israeli settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, under the strict protection of the occupation police.
And Jerusalemite sources reported that settlers stormed Al-Aqsa from the Mughrabi Gate, carried out provocative tours of its courtyards, and performed Talmudic rituals on the eastern side of it.
The occupation police deployed its special forces and units since the morning in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa and at its gates, to secure the settlers’ incursions and restrict the entry of the worshipers, after it forced the worshipers to leave the mosque at night and restricted the entry of the worshipers at dawn, checked their identities and detained some of them.
This coincided with a report by the Palestinian Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs, Sheikh Hatem al-Bakri, today, Monday, in which he said that the occupation authorities are continuing to tighten their control over the city of Jerusalem, especially Al-Aqsa Mosque and its surroundings.
Al-Bakri added - in the monthly report issued by his ministry - that the occupation stormed Al-Aqsa 25 times last month, and continued its comprehensive campaign to clamp down on the mosque and worshipers through a series of measures and decisions aimed at Judaizing the entire city.
He pointed out that the occupation authorities are still preventing the call to prayer in the Ibrahimi Mosque, which reached 42 times, indicating that the occupation authorities also attacked two mosques and the endowment property in Hebron.
The report monitored the occupation's continuation of the policy of persecuting the stationed and the stationed, harassing those in Al-Aqsa Mosque, and attacking them during the blessed month of Ramadan.
And it showed that the intruders among the settlers performed Talmudic prayers, especially in the eastern region of it, and also intensified their violations of the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque in the form of successive groups, and they performed Talmudic rituals at the doors and in the yards, in addition to continuing the excavations and tunnels under Al-Aqsa Mosque and its surroundings, as the former member of the Knesset stormed Judah Glick, accompanied by a number of settlers, visited Al-Aqsa Mosque and performed Talmudic prayers inside its courtyards.
In the Ibrahimi Mosque, the occupation authorities continued the excavation work and the tourist path, and they are still going against the call to prayer as every month, and they prevented the call to prayer in this month 42 times, and they continued Judaization work, especially in building the electric elevator to serve the settlers.
The report documented that the occupation forces attacked the "Qaytoun" mosque in the old city of Hebron, and submitted two notifications, one to the Bilal bin Rabah Mosque/Khashm al-Karm in the city of Yatta, and the other to its facilities.
Al-Bakri revealed that the occupation has notified the demolition of seven graves in the village of Al-Burj, southwest of Hebron, under the pretext of building in Area C. The cemetery is built on endowment lands belonging to the Palestinian Ministry of Awqaf, and has been used by citizens for several years to bury their dead.
