The Court's Pre-Trial Chamber II also issued an arrest warrant for the Chairperson of the Commissioner for the Rights of Children of Russia, Maria Alekseevna Lvova-Belova.
Announcing the arrest warrants, the court said the warrants held both President Putin and the Commissioner responsible "for the war crime of illegal deportation" of children from the occupied territories of Ukraine to Russia.
