Today, Sunday, an Iraqi security source said that a drone had crashed at the Special Training School "Dublin" at Baghdad International Airport.
The source said, according to the "Alsumaria News" news channel, that: "a drone plane fell in the Special Training School" Dublin "at Baghdad International Airport from an unknown party," indicating that the plane was handed over to the Joint Coordination Center, while it was not clear if the plane was Carrying explosive materials or for photographic purposes
This comes shortly after the Iraqi joint operations announced that its forces had succeeded in destroying a number of tunnels and dens used by ISIS militants in the western Anbar desert, noting that the forces seized a number of weapons and equipment.
Major General Tahseen Al-Khafaji, spokesman for the Joint Operations Command, said - in an exclusive statement to Al-Iraqiya news channel - that the operation will continue until its objectives are implemented within the stages of Operation Swords of Truth.
He added that the areas being targeted are complex and remote desert areas that the terrorist organization believes are out of reach of the Iraqi forces.
