.Egypt's ambassador in Brussels heads his country's delegation to the high-level meeting of the International Committee for the Coordination of Aid to the Palestinian People (AHLC).

The Egyptian Ambassador to Brussels, Dr. Badr Abdel-Aty, participated in the high-level meeting of the AHLC Committee for the Coordination of International Aid to the Palestinian People, which was held in Brussels, during which he headed the Egyptian delegation participating in the meeting.
The meeting was inaugurated by Joseph Borrell, Vice-President of the European Commission and High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy, under the joint presidency of Norway and the European Union, with the participation of the Palestinian and Israeli sides, delegations from donor countries to the Palestinians, as well as representatives of international organizations such as the United Nations, the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.
In his speech, the Ambassador of Egypt in Brussels affirmed Egypt's continuous support for the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights, foremost of which is their right to self-determination and the establishment of their independent, sovereign state on the borders of June 4, 1976, with East Jerusalem as its capital. Abdel Aty also addressed all forms of support and assistance provided by Egypt to support the Palestinian people, including the housing and development projects that it is implementing in the Gaza Strip.
