Al-Aqsa Mosque is subjected to settler incursions every day, except for Saturday and Friday, in the morning and evening periods, in an attempt to impose the temporal and spatial division.
Today, Tuesday, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the heinous crime committed by the occupation army against the residents of the Gaza Strip, which led to the death of 12 citizens, most of them children, women, and unarmed civilians.
In a press statement, the ministry considered this crime an extension of the occupation's open war against the Palestinian people and their just and legitimate national rights, and a continuation of the Israeli government's attempts to export its crises to the Palestinian arena and resolve them at the expense of the rights of the Palestinian people, and a clear Israeli attempt to perpetuate the logic of brute military force in dealing with the cause of our people as an alternative. for peaceful political solutions to the conflict.
The ministry held the Israeli government fully and directly responsible for this aggression and its consequences on the conflict arena, as a dangerous escalation that threatens to explode it completely.
The ministry called on the international community to intervene urgently to stop the aggression against the Palestinian people, stressing that a negotiated political solution to the conflict is the only way to achieve security and stability in the arena of conflict.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that the number of Palestinian martyrs, as a result of Israeli air raids on various areas of the Gaza Strip, has risen to 12, and the injured to at least 20, indicating that the number of martyrs is likely to increase, in light of the presence of a number of injured, and the presence of bodies under the rubble of buildings. I got bombed.
Successive explosions were heard throughout the coastal strip, as a result of the Israeli air raids, which targeted a number of houses and apartments in the city of "Gaza", the city of "Rafah" and the city of "Khan Yunis" in the center and north of the sector.
Numerous sites in different areas, from Rafah in the south to Beit Hanoun in the north in the Gaza Strip, were subjected to heavy bombardment with tens of tons of explosives and Israeli missiles. Flames, fire and smoke were seen rising from these targets, which are heavily bombed.
Among the martyrs were three leaders in the "Islamic Jihad" movement: Jihad Ghannam (62 years), Khalil al-Bahtini (44 years), and Tariq Izz al-Din, a liberated prisoner from the town of "Arraba" south of Jenin.
The Palestinian factions condemned the Israeli aggression, and pledged to respond to it, and to continue the resistance, stressing that the blood of the martyrs will increase the determination of the resistance, which will not stop until the end of the occupation, which will pay the price for the assassination crimes it committed in Gaza.
And Israeli media reported that the Israeli army announced the immediate closure of the Erez and Kerem Shalom crossings until further notice.
And the Israeli news site "404" revealed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu approved an operation he called "Shield and Arrow" to assassinate senior "Islamic Jihad" officials and attack targets of the jihad, last Friday.
Israeli media said that the occupation is anticipating a response from the "Islamic Jihad" movement to the assassination of its leaders in the Gaza Strip, and expects missile salvoes from the Strip to hit Israel, and that Israel is preparing for days of fighting, as it put it.
And the Israeli Channel Seven reported that the occupation army asked the residents of the settlements surrounding the Gaza Strip (cover settlements) to enter the shelters until further notice, while the municipality of "Ashkelon" decided to open the shelters throughout the city, and to declare a state of alert at the highest level in it.
The Home Front Command ordered the residents of the cover settlements to stay near the shelters, and special instructions were given to the settlers to stay 40 km from the Gaza Strip.
