Tomorrow, Monday, the guests of the Merciful will start spending the day of al-Tarwiyah in Mina, in preparation for standing on the pure level of Arafat the day after tomorrow, Tuesday, which is considered the greatest pillar of Hajj.
Tarwiyah Day is the eighth day of the month of Dhul-Hijjah, and it was given this name, because people used to drink water in Makkah and go out with it to Mina, as it was non-existent in those days to suffice them until the last day of the Hajj days, and it was said that it was named because God saw His Prophet Ibrahim Peace be upon him, the rituals on that day, just as Ibrahim, peace be upon him, saw that night in a dream that he slaughtered his son, so he began to narrate to himself, “Is it a dream?” Or from God? It was called Tarwiyah Day.
The rituals of Hajj Al-Tarwiyah begin for the Hajj Al-Muqran and Al-Mufrad, as they maintain their ihram from the meeqaat.
After that, the pilgrim heads from his residence to Mina to spend this day and spend the night there.. And staying overnight in Mina is Sunnah and not obligatory, meaning that if the pilgrim ascends to Arafat directly, and does not sleep in Mina on the night of the ninth, then there is no sin on him, which is what most missions do to avoid crowds. .
It is desirable for the pilgrim to pray a lot during his stay in Mina, and the pilgrim performs the noon prayer, the afternoon prayer, the sunset prayer, and the evening prayer in short form without combining, meaning that each prayer is prayed separately, then he spends his night there, and the pilgrim prays after that the dawn prayer and leaves Mina on his way. To Arafa to spend the day of the Greater Hajj.
The three Egyptian pilgrimage missions (the lottery, tourism and solidarity) are preparing to ascend the Egyptian pilgrims to the level of Arafat tomorrow evening, Monday.
The Qara pilgrimage mission distributed dry meals to Egyptian pilgrims to take with them to Arafat and during the days of Tashreeq.
