Brussels: Europe and the Arabs
The second High-level Political Dialogue between the European Union and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia took place in Brussels, chaired by Deputy Secretary-General of the European External Action Service (EEAS), Mr. Enrique Mora and H.E. Ambassador. Raed Grimli, Head of Policy Planning at the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to a statement issued by the European Foreign Policy Office in Brussels, the dialogue took place on Monday, and the statement also stated, "The high-level political dialogue relied on the positive outcome of the first dialogue held in Riyadh in June 2022, which launched the implementation of the cooperation agreement between the European Foreign Affairs Department and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs." Saudi Arabia.
The European statement added, "It provided an opportunity to explore ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the EU and Saudi Arabia, but also to discuss a number of common challenges and broader developments in the Middle East, including Iran, Palestine and Yemen among other important issues of mutual interest, as well as global consequences." The next high-level political dialogue will be held in Riyadh, and the date will be determined at a later time.
