On Monday, the European Union adopted a decision to extend the current restrictive measures against ISIS, Al-Qaeda and natural and legal persons, groups, institutions and entities associated with them for another year, until October 31, 2024.
A European statement said on the sidelines of the meetings of foreign ministers of member states that began this morning in Luxembourg, “The sanctions regime currently in effect applies to 14 individuals and 5 groups. These independent restrictive measures complement those imposed by the UN Security Council against ISIS and Al-Qaeda.
