Brussels: Europe and the Arabs
The two-day visit of NATO Secretary General, Mr. Jens Stoltenberg, to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia begins today, Tuesday, according to a statement issued by the NATO headquarters in the Belgian capital, Brussels.
The NATO statement added, "The Secretary-General of the Alliance will meet with the Minister of Defense, Dr. Khalid bin Salman Al Saud, and other high-level officials."
The statement concluded by saying, “Stoltenberg will also participate in a discussion being moderated at the National Defense University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
It is expected that the talks will address strengthening cooperation and relations between the two sides and discuss developments in the situation in the Middle East and the Levant region, in addition to many issues of common interest, including regional and international issues.
