Victims continued to fall from the Israeli bombing of the Palestinians on the eve of the beginning of the month of Ramadan, while the UN Security Council succeeded in passing a resolution on a ceasefire in Sudan during the month of Ramadan, which the Council member states failed to achieve for the Palestinians.
In response to media reports, Cairo News Channel reported in urgent news, citing Palestinian media: The number of victims of the Israeli bombing on the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis, has risen to 15 martyrs.
The Israeli occupation continues its aggression against the Gaza Strip, on land, sea and air, since the seventh of last October, leaving more than 30 thousand martyrs, the majority of whom are children and women, and more than 72 thousand injuries, an infinite toll, and thousands of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads. The occupation prevents ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching them.
As a result of the war and simultaneous Israeli restrictions, the residents of Gaza, especially the Gaza and North governorates, are facing severe famine in light of the severe scarcity of food, water, medicine and fuel supplies, with the displacement of about two million Palestinians from the Strip, which has been besieged by Israel for 17 years.
On the other hand, the Arab Parliament welcomed the adoption by the UN Security Council of a resolution by majority calling for an end to the fighting in the Republic of Sudan during the holy month of Ramadan.
The Arab Parliament stressed the need to commit to stopping hostilities in order to preserve the lives of innocent people, especially in this holy month, which has a special sanctity for Arabs and Muslims, expressing its hope that this step will pave the way towards resuming the political solution to the crisis in accordance with the outcomes of the Jeddah meetings aimed at achieving the interest of the Sudanese people. In order to achieve security and stability in Sudan.
The Arab Parliament affirmed its firm position on the necessity of resolving the crisis in Sudan politically, in a way that preserves the unity of the Sudanese army, the integrity of Sudan’s lands, and the preservation of the capabilities of its people.
