A number of civilians and soldiers were killed and injured at dawn on Friday, as a result of an Israeli aggression that targeted a number of points in the countryside of Aleppo.

On the other hand, the Lebanese State Security Service issued an explanatory statement regarding the arrest of a wanted person inside Syrian territory, following his escape from prison. The Information, Guidance and Public Relations Department of the Lebanese General Directorate of State Security issued a statement saying: “After the detainee Dani Al-Rashid escaped from one of the State Security prisons in the Sa’at Al-Abd area and disappeared from view, the General Directorate of State Security, with direct follow-up by its leadership, launched an investigation and follow-up campaign. During which I was able to determine Al-Rashid’s hiding place inside Syrian territory.”
The statement added: “After joint coordination between the Directorate and the concerned Syrian security authorities, a State Security force carried out a joint security operation inside Syrian territory that led to his arrest, and he was handed over to the General Directorate of Lebanese General Security to carry out the required legal procedures, provided that he is referred again to the General Directorate of State Security.” Tomorrow morning, Friday, the legal action will be taken against him under the supervision of the competent judiciary.”
