Nearly 8,000 Palestinians were arrested by the occupation forces...and the death toll in the Gaza Strip rose to 32,975 and injuries to 75,577.

Today, Wednesday, the Israeli occupation forces arrested at least 30 Palestinians from the West Bank, including journalist Asmaa Harish, the mother of the martyr Ahmed Hilal Ghaidan, in addition to former prisoners and a number of Gaza workers, in the city of Ramallah.
The Prisoners' and Ex-Prisoners' Affairs Authority and the Prisoners' Club explained, in a joint press statement, that the arrest operations were concentrated in the governorates of Jerusalem and Ramallah, while the rest of the arrests were distributed among the governorates of Hebron, Bethlehem, Tubas, Jenin, Qalqilya, and Jericho.
They added that the occupation continued to carry out widespread raids and destruction in governorates, camps and towns, accompanied by sabotage and destruction of homes, in addition to severe beatings against detainees and their families.
This brings the total number of arrests after the seventh of last October to more than 7,990, and this total includes those who were arrested from homes, through military checkpoints, those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held hostage.
The continuous and escalating arrest campaigns come in an unprecedented manner, within the framework of the comprehensive aggression against the Palestinian people, and the ongoing genocide in Gaza, since the Al-Aqsa flood on October 7, which targeted all groups of children, women, the elderly, and the sick, in an unprecedented manner.
Data related to arrest cases includes those who were kept in detention by the occupation and those who were later released.
In the same regard, medical sources announced today, Wednesday, that the death toll in the Gaza Strip had risen to 32,975 martyrs, the majority of whom were children and women, since the start of the Israeli occupation aggression on October 7.
According to the Palestinian Wafa Agency, the death toll has risen to 75,577 since the start of the aggression, while thousands of victims are still under the rubble.
She pointed out that the occupation forces committed 5 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, resulting in the death of 59 citizens and the injury of 83 others during the past 24 hours.
She explained that a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.
Dozens of Palestinians were martyred and injured today, Wednesday, as a result of Israeli occupation aircraft and artillery bombing various areas of the Gaza Strip, as the aggression entered its 180th day.
5 Palestinians were martyred, and 10 others were injured, as a result of the occupation artillery shelling a number of citizens’ homes in the city of Khan Yunis.
He added that 3 other citizens were martyred, and a number of others were injured, in an artillery shelling that targeted citizens’ homes southeast of the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
The occupation artillery also bombed several neighborhoods in Gaza City, including Sheikh Ajlin, Tal Al-Hawa, and Al-Zaytoun, wounding a number of citizens, who were subsequently transferred to the Baptist Hospital in the city.
