The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Bahamas announced that the Council of Ministers decided to officially recognize the State of Palestine.

The Presidency expressed its appreciation to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates and the Embassy of the State of Palestine to the Caribbean Basin for their efforts in this regard.
This comes as Moroccan Foreign Affairs Minister Nasser Bourita discussed, on Tuesday in Rabat, with Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, preparations for the 33rd Arab Summit, which Bahrain will host from May 14 to 16.
