Washington: Europe and the Arabs

US President Donald Trump asserted on Friday that the United States is "ready to act" if Iran kills protesters, following the deaths of six people on Thursday in clashes between protesters and security forces in Iran during demonstrations. According to the Brussels-based European news network Euronews, Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform: "If Iran shoots and kills peaceful protesters, as they have often done, the United States of America will step in to save them," adding, "We are locked and loaded and ready to act."

For its part, the Iranian Resistance monitored some of the events that occurred in the past few days and stated in a press release, a copy of which we received, that on the fourth day of the nationwide uprising, Wednesday, citizens and youth of the uprising took to the streets in Arak, Khorramabad, Shiraz, Dorud, Nahavand, Yasuj, Rasht, Shahr-e Qods, Bagh-e Malek, Kuhdasht, Fouladshahr, Asadabad, Ramhormoz, Babol, Qeshm, Lali, Masjed Soleiman, Marlik, and various locations around Tehran. They clashed with repressive forces and filled the streets with slogans such as, “O Iranian, shout out and demand your rights!” and “This year is the year of blood; in it, Seyyed Ali (Khamenei) will fall!”

In Urmia, during a volleyball match, thousands of young people chanted resounding slogans such as, “Azerbaijan is a symbol of honor, and Pahlavi is dishonorable!” In Kuhdasht, after the Supreme Leader Khamenei's henchmen opened fire on protesters, the heroic youth confronted them, and the clashes spread to various parts of the city, with attacks on the vehicles of the repressive forces. Saeed Pourali, the Deputy Governor of Lorestan for Political, Security, and Social Affairs, announced the death of a Basij member named Amir Hossein Khodaeifar during these clashes, and the injury of 13 members of the Internal Security Forces and the Basij from stone-throwing.

In Hamadan and Asadabad, the youth of the uprising set fire to a Basij base and a Ministry of Intelligence bunker, and withstood water cannons belonging to special units in sub-zero temperatures.

According to a statement from the National Council of Resistance of Iran, clashes also took place between youth and repressive forces in Fouladshahr, Isfahan. Mercenaries opened fire on citizens, and young people seized control of some streets by setting fires.

In Arak, repressive forces used water cannons to disperse citizens, but young people confronted them, chanting "You dishonorable ones! You dishonorable ones!" and attacked the special forces.

In Rasht, young people burned a motorcycle belonging to one of the regime's thugs in civilian clothes who were attacking citizens. In Ramhormoz, citizens set fire to a building belonging to the repressive forces.

On Wednesday night, at 11:00 PM, following the nighttime demonstrations by students of Beheshti University in Tehran, plainclothes agents and intelligence operatives attacked the female student dormitories, abducting several students and taking them away. A large number of students gathered in front of the university dormitory and confronted the mercenaries with slogans such as "You dishonorable one, you dishonorable one."
