Morocco is holding talks with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development ... and Algeria: Establishing a profitable partnership based on the peer with the European Union

Moroccan Prime Minister Aziz Akhenouch, in Rabat, held talks with the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Odel Ronopaso, and a number of bank officials.
A statement of the presidency of the Moroccan government stated that this meeting, in which Mohsen Jazoli, the Minister Delegated to the Prime Minister in charge of investment, participated, as various aspects of cooperation relations between Morocco and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development were reviewed.
The statement added that the two sides expressed their satisfaction with the level of cooperation in many development projects and infrastructure projects, and partnerships with public institutions and with the private sector.
The Moroccan Prime Minister welcomed the performance of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, in supporting economic development in Morocco, by mobilizing investments of interest to various sectors.
Akhenouch also expressed his aspiration to continue to strengthen the partnership between the two parties according to an ambitious strategy, by accelerating the development of the green economy field, facing water stress, as well as supporting social cohesion, and reducing regional disparities.
For its part, Odel Renault-Bassu praised the runs that Morocco has made in the field of strengthening and modernizing the infrastructure network, sea water desalination and renewable energies, and the reforms implemented by the current government to confront the economic repercussions of the Cofide-19.
On the other hand, and in the neighboring country, Algeria affirmed its keenness to establish a fruitful and profitable partnership with the European Union, which is based on the peer and the pursuit of common interests and benefits, calling for the need to intensify international endeavors to put in place the Russian -Ukrainian crisis as soon as possible.
This came during the talks, which brought together the Secretary -General of the Algerian Foreign Ministry, Ammar Ballani, on Thursday at the Ministry’s headquarters in Algiers, to the European Union’s ambassador to Algeria, Thomas Icartes.
The Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated - in a statement - that during the meeting, the two parties reviewed the upcoming benefits in the agenda of bilateral relations and many international and regional issues of common concern.
Blani explained that his country, under the leadership of Algerian President Abdel Majid Taboun, Misr and an eagerness at the same time to establish a fruitful and profitable partnership with the European Union, is based on the peer and the pursuit of joint interests and benefits.
Regarding the international situation, the two parties exchanged visions on the Russian-Ukrainian crisis and the grave challenges that it imposed on security and stability in the world, and Palani stressed the need to intensify international endeavors to put an end to this crisis as soon as possible, again the Algerian position calling from the beginning to resolve the conflict through Dialogue and peaceful means in a way that takes into account and guarantees the interest of all parties.
The Secretary-General of the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the European Union ambassador also affirmed the centrality of the Palestinian issue and its vital and decisive role in the stability of the region, which remains dependent on finding a fair and comprehensive settlement of the Arab-Israeli conflict; It is based on the land equation for peace, according to the Arab Peace Initiative for the year 2002, which Arab leaders decided to reactivate and put in the behavior of the international community on the occasion of the Arab Summit held in Algeria on the first and second of last November.
