The delegation also stressed the importance of Israel stopping its targeting of the Rafah border crossing from the Palestinian side for the entry of humanitarian aid, stressing that the crossing from the Egyptian side is open and ready to allow long convoys of trucks carrying relief aid to enter, but they are awaiting guarantees from the Israeli side that they will not be targeted.

The delegation of Arab ambassadors in Brussels pointed to the danger resulting from the adoption by some European officials, politicians and institutions of an unbalanced and unacceptable dual approach when talking about the situation and describing what is happening in Gaza and the real reasons that led to the deterioration of the situation.
The Arab ambassadors pointed out that some European statements and positions send wrong messages to the Israeli occupation forces, which may do so while feeling encouraged to increase their attacks, killing of civilians, violations, and targeting of public and private facilities and infrastructure in the Gaza Strip.
